I am an exchange student from Imperial College London staying at the University of California at Davis for one year. Throughout this year I focused on performing simulations of sprays in confined geometries such as the trachea and more specifically the first part of the trachea up to the first bifurcation. This is part of a wider project undertaken by the laboratory concerning drug delivery to the lung with a particular focus on ducks.
